Just as previously reviewed. The DTA box given by
COMCAST may not work on your COMCAST connection. This means you will only get the analog channels which will be about 7. Comcast basicaly says tough luck. The only work around I have found is that a newer digital
TV with a QAM tuner will get those channels from 30 up but will have a different channel designation.
Comcast will not help you with this problem. In our building some units cannot use the DTA box and therefore are only getting the basic analog TV channels. We are paying for extended
cable but not getting the
service. I feel COMCAST has falsely advertised that no box will be needed when the switch was made by federal order to digital if you are connected to COMCAST. Where is the outcry in letting COMCAST just change the game and expect all to pay for no service.
