First off they sent a driver that had trouble speaking and understanding English, yes I should expect that in Miami but it's still ridiculous. The guy approached the house stopped in the middle of the yard, got on his phone, and started complaining that he needed more help and couldn't get the chair to the house because it has stairs.
DHL then tells my mother that it's an extra $75 delivery fee because our house has stairs. Seriously our house is a typical Florida house--ground floor, small porch that you step up on to reach the door. Even if he'd left it on the porch it wouldn't have been an issue.
DHL customer service was no help doesn't even understand their own company policy which clearly states "stairs" means a second floor. So then my mother had to threaten the chair company with a lawyer because she told them the chair wasn't delivered, she wanted a refund and they didn't want to issue it. Long story short my mother had to send a photo of the front of the house to the chair company so that they could fight with DHL about completing the delivery. We now got the chair today left on the front porch. We have never had this much trouble with any other service so insane. Makes me appreciate
