Not quite ready to stream to the PS3

Just a brief little note here-I had been a 4 year customer of Netflix until this spring, when I cancelled my membership.
However, I heard last month via a press release from Sony on yahoo that Netflix had signed a contract with Sony to stream movies to the PS3, which will be included in the price of any unlimited plan they offer (cheapest is $8.99/month for 1 disc at a time).

The release stated that it will be available "next month"
Yesterday, I signed up (reactivated my account) for Netflix mostly for this feature. Everything I could find on the website prior to signing up indicated this feature was avaialable with the shipment of a Netflix disc (free) that you put in the PS3.
But-once I signed up, and requested the disc, I got the message that the feature will be available by the end of the year, and will be shipped accordingly.
To me, it's not worth canceling my membership for just one month until they are actually providing the service I want. I'm not even angry about it in the least. I'll actually get to watch a few movies that Redbox does not carry-which was also a factor in my descision to sign up for Netflix again. Although I clicked on 4 or 5 links before I signed up and did not see that it was not available for the PS3 yet, it might very well be there somewhere. I'm a pretty cautious consumer-while I don't read fine print for hours I also don't rush into things without a bit of research-so I think Netflix could have made it a bit clearer.

Thanks for reading!

FYI to all, not all movies are available to stream over the internet. There are quite a few and I use it for my xbox360 and it works well

Yeah Klobber-I remember that from back when I had Netflix and would watch them on my computer. Some of the "direct to DVD stuff" gets put online fairly quickly-but the big budget stuff takes awhile to be available.
They do have a lot of TV series you can watch instantly though-which is kind of why I really wanted it.

Steve, you used the term shizzle wrong. Shizzle means "sure." The word that you meant to say is "shiznit."

    Lets try again shall we.
