Bank of America Complaint

Customer Service - REO Foreclosed Properties

Posted By: Just my thoughts on 11/6/2009

Bank of America received 15 Billion dollars in TARP Money.

But Bank of America is holding back Properties they could sell. Why?

If I could find out- I would buy one. To help pay back the Government.
*Property was foreclosed on before. the tax sale on August 29, 2007.

The adjoining piece of property was sold Dec. 13, 2008 that I bought.

With the previous owner to both parcels receiving a check at closing.

So how is this bad service?

You sound like you found a good deal that you don't want to get away. This has nothing to do with you wanting to help pay back the government.

It just aint that easy. There are a lot of hurdles to selling foreclosed properties. The paperwork is staggering. Add to that a local judge who recently ruled that if you bought a property that was a foreclosure, even if it was 20 years ago, with owners in between, the original owner can file a claim against the property if the paperwork for the foreclosure wasn't exactly perfect.

I have made numerous phone calls, been to two BOA banks. Only to be told.
“It is Corporate – check the website.”
Lack of Customer service- No more “Let me check into that for you”. Or
No more ”Let me ask my supervisor”.
Bank of America is greedy- takes the Government money, but won't make loans for their own customers?
Where is a person to go to – If your own bank won't lend you money? I have the Steady income, good references.
Bank of America hasn't paid back any money- If I buy the property, then it helps the state with
tax money, And Maybe BOA will put some money back into the government.
    Any... more >>

I totally agree with you, they are greedy lazy people, and whom ever disagree should only comment if they've experienced something mutual.

Then this site wouldn't be called my3cents.
