Sprint Complaint

Collection Letter

Posted By: BTRFLYGIRL on 11/6/2009

My son cancelled his Sprint account due to many problems and they wouldn't help out at all. Today(approx) a week later he receives a collection agency alert letter. I never heard or seen a letter like this before. He paid his Oct bill the his phone was shut off due to non payment even though his account clearly showed a credit. They made a mistake and wouldn't admit. He paid his bill on time every month. I don't get how they can just start collection proceedings so fast.

Maybe your son isn't telling you the entire story.

Why isn't your Son posting this?

Then it's not for the October bill. There's a bill or two in there your son must have missed if it's been sent to collections.

If he canceled his service that is probably a letter for the early termination. Or, as was suggested before, it is payments that he has not paid.

At Macy's we started calling when the customer was 3 days late on their payment

ZZ, I worked in collections in the call center in Tempe.

And I swear if you accuse me of living in AJ one more time, I'm gonna hide all the gin in the state of Colorado.

OP here my son is out of State and asked me to do this for him. I can't get the exact amount but it was like $100 and something. So you figure the October biil and this months bill??

best thing to do is have him contact them

if he doesn't have that ability he'll have to get a power-of-attorney for you to do it, cos legally they can't tell you anything about the account unless you have that.

He already talked them and he was a waste of phone call. The lost a good customer.
