My complaint also is about Walmart Tire & lube. I stopped for an Oil Change on my 2005 Dodge 2500 with 67000 miles. When they checked the rear end they broke the plug in the rear end and 500 miles later the rear end seized because all the oil had come out and I was 500 miles from home in the middle of Missouri.

Walmart would not stand up to the $6000 bill that the dealership charged to put a new rear end in the truck. Walmart Claims Co is denying all responsibility in this action. And the Podunk Dodge dealership Palmer Motors in Lebanon Mo used every trick in the book to continue charging me for additional work. I asked to see bad parts and very conveinently they had all been scrapped. So I am writing a letter to the Attorney General in both Michigan and Missouri to complain. Walmart has lost my business now and thank god I don't have to go back to podunk Mo.

I sympathize with you about your expensive mishaps.

If I may, I would like for you to go to Youtube.com and learn how to change your own oil. No need to depend on a stranger to change the oil and destroying your vehicle.

I would not let anybody service my 1988 Jeep Cherokee.

My Jeep has taken me everywhere for 20 years and I have never let anybody touch the Jeep fearing that they would destroy my ride.

500 miles down the road is a bit far to prove that Walmart damaged the car. I can see why they fought the claim. You also have a problem with the dealership, so I am wondering if it is just that you hate small towns since you seen to enjoy making fun of them. (Podunk)

Do you have proof that WM checked the fluid in your rear end?
And you should have heard a loud howling noise coming from the rear end when you were driving it with no fluid. Maybe you did not notice it-but in my experience it would be very, very hard not to.

Haha MRM so true. I sold my 94 Cherokee with a 4 inch lift and 224K on it 2 years ago-still going strong but needed tranny work that I did not want to fix. The girl I sold it to is still driving it to this day (she paid someone to put a new tranny in the dang thing).
Then I just sold my 98 Wrangler this past summer.
For the first time in 5 years I am Jeep-less :-(
Less spots being left on my driveway though. Remember, Jeeps don't leak, they just mark their territory!
