Capital One hidden charges - credit card

I recently canceled my Capital One card. They were still charging me finance charges even though I had paid my balance in full two months ago. Also, each time I call, they answer from India and cannot help me except for repeating information that I already know and can read on my statement. I had a fraudulent charge on my card that required changing the card and inconveniencing me for several days while I waited for the new card, and the fraudulent charge was in INDIA--exactly in the same city where the calls for Capital One are being answered.

I don't appreciate the fact that Capital One has outsourced their jobs, that their center in India is not helpful or knowledgeable, and that fraudulent charges to the card are occurring in India. I'd rather go with a more reliable and trustworthy company that believes in keeping jobs in the US and does not charge a finance charge on a $0 balance!!!!

So, what are the hidden charges? Finance fees aren't hidden charges. Anytime I've paid off a credit card, there's always one more bill... just a finance charge and then no more.

You have probably been subjected to the two-cycle average balance interest method. It is not hidden. Obscure? Yes, definitely, but not hidden. Most people do not see it as it only surfaces when you pay a full balance that was NOT fully paid the previous month.

Our financial world is a treacherous place fraught with many pitfalls.
