Centurytel Complaint - Centurytel service, aka awful - computer service
computer service - Complaint
For the past two months I have called centurytel "customer service" hoping I could get access to my email and the promised "faster download" which I pay for. What a joke, centurytel is the most pathetic internet provider in business. Bush league, a second rate company that should be run out of business. I was told that my area "was affected." Affected by what? That is supposed to be a reponse to the question "why can't I access my email?" A moronic answer. I can hardly wait for the day this company does not exist. Three times last week I waited over six minutes and I am paying for high speed DSL, the Pony Express delivered a quicker service than this pathetic business. Hopefully some sad sack working at centurytel will see this post, gag to death on his lunch and something will get done. Until then, avoid them like the plague.

Could it be because they merged with another company and you are having problems?

Why is that every 90 days or more/less, the emails I allow to remain in the "INBOX" suddenly disappear? I have not set my settings for this to happen, because I rely on looking back for up to 6 months of emails before I either delete them or move them to a private folder in my email system.
