BB&T BANK Complaint - BB&T Bank charges extra fees - Bank

HERNDON, VIRGINIA -- Someone gave me a check with BB&T bank. I went to cash that check. BB&T bank charged $5.00 to cash that check since I don't have an account with them. I did cash checks from different bank and never had to pay any fees but this time with BB&T, I had to pay $5.00. Lot of bank out there now offering all kind of services free but BB&T charging extra fees. Soon they will start charging customer steping into BB&T branches. I will not go to BB&T again and will ask others not to go there.

Charging a non-customer to cash a check is, unfortunately, not uncommon and not limited to BB&T.
