Mitsubishi Complaint - 57 inch DLP tv - defective screen(holes)appearing through picture

I purchased a 57 inch DLP at the end of 2007 and in January 2010 the screen has holes (pin holes) appearing through the picture. I notified the company about the problem and I was told that this TV was not in on the recall list. WHY!!!!! I paid GOOD HARD EARNED MONEY for something I thought was worth it. Mitsubishi needs to do SOMETHING to correct the problem. I will never purchase or recommend to anyone else a mitsubishi product.

Mitsubishi makes a really good DLP. They're one of the few companies still producing this technology. I haven't heard about these pin holes you're speaking of. It definitely isn't a common problem, which I'm sure is why they're not doing any major recall for it.

That still isn't bad and I'm sure it can be corrected. Start with the retailer you purchased the television through. If an extended warranty was purchased with the TV, they may very well flip the bill on correcting the problem. If not, get their recommendation for local service on the set. Make sure they're authorized by the manufacturer.

My mom has the same problem with the 65 inch. It started with 1 hole. Now we are up to 18 hole. The holes are tiny pin holes. At first we thought it was your some bugs, but after reading the previous come in we know exactly what it is.
