Wal-Mart Satisfaction Guarantee
Worthless and Nothing but Lies.
My wife and I as well as friends and relatives spend many of our hard earned dollars at Wal-Mart and you probably do too. Wal-Mart states that their Goal is "Your Satisfaction Guaranteed".
That's what they say, and it's a Blatant Lie.! Their "Satisfaction Guarantee" applies Only if it's to Their Satisfaction....Not necessarily Yours..! Catch them in one of their Lies and you will find out just what I mean.
I received a rather Large expensive gift for Christmas from my daughter, that had been ordered on-line from Wal-Mart.

When I opened the gift, it was severely damaged during shipment. My daughter was outraged that it had been so damaged, and rightly so. She knows so well how much this particular gift meant to me, and why I was so upset that it had arrived Damaged.

After several phone calls and emails to Wal-Mart, I was instructed to return it to Wal-Mart, ( because of it's Customer Satisfaction Guarantee Goal) and request a store credit and re-order the gift on-line again, so I did. You know what it's like to get into Wal-Mart around the Holidays..?

Wal-Mart refused to pay the shipping cost of the replacement item, So I had to pay it, is this a "Wal-Mart Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed Goal"..?
Especially since it was a Wal-Mart problem....Not Mine..! My daughter didn't pay for a damaged product..but she got one..!

I did as Wal-Mart told me to do and re-ordered the item on-line and added the shipping cost to the total. This was an expensive, very personal and meaningful Christmas gift that I haven't been able to enjoy due to the damaged goods that Wal-Mart had delivered to my home, and it's now well into January.
About a week later, a package was left at my door, as I was not home at the time.

I am here to help you spread the word. You know Walmart started out in the Southern part of our Country and through that my opinion was that they strived to offer the best Customer Service. Now, someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the founder of Walmart was Sam Walton?, now I also believe that Sam is no longer with this corporation. Since then Walmart is not known for their customer service. They are uncaring and down right rude. I had bought a GPS a couple of years ago and when I got it home it was telling me that I was in a whole different area of the state. I took it back to Walmart and the clerk actually had the nerve to ... more >>

    Mr. BONDO BILL,
First things first. Wal-Mart.com is a seperate division than Wal-Mart Stores just like Sam's club is a different division of Wal-Mart Stores. Wal-Mart Stores has excellent Customer Service. In your statement, you said that you returned it to Wal-Mart. If you bought it from the online store why did't you send it back to the online center. Yes you can take it to a store, but you do not have to pay shipping to send it back, and they will replace the item at the same price as the original item. As far as the shipping box being damaged, Wal-Mart, Wal-Mart.com, and Sam's Club, do not sell or send defective items in store or i ... more >>

Dear Mr.WalMart,Get off your High horse and smell the Horse crap your shelling out , like the rest of us have to do from "WalMart or Walmart stores" or whatever you decide to call yourself. The item was purchased through "WalMart period"...I don't need your tecnical Bull crap about your name differences, A Walmart by any other "Name' is still Walmart. If Not, then by God Sue..! Can't do that huh? Hmmmmm....Do tell..!!
I submitted a lengthy 2 page complaint here, which was probably boring to many people to read.
I could have gone on even further to tell people of the Horrors I endured with "You People" Whoever you call yourself today, but ... more >>

Mr Walmart, just to give you a little more insight, Yes I did buy it On-line through WalMart, and returned it to a WalMart store,.."AT THEIR SUGGESTION"...and you are TOTALLY WRONG about Not Having to pay additional shipping, They Refused to give me an exchange Store Certificate unless I aggreed to pay the return shipping charges.
The Shipping Box the item came in was Not Damaged, the merchandise inside Was damaged, very obviously from Heavy Handeling, or "Drop Kicking"..!
Your Comment: "Wal-Mart, Wal-Mart.com, and Sam's Club, do not sell or send defective items in store or in your case it was delivered to your residence". WHAT PLANET ... more >>

GO Get'em DAD!!!! Wal-Mart is Horrible for what they put us through!!! It has been a few years since I last saw my dad because of the distance between us and wanted to get him a gift that meant A LOT to him. Wal-Mart just about ruined everything for my surprise to him. I am OUTRAGED at the service we continue to get from their "CUSTOMER SATISFACTION GUARENTEED" crap! I will not be satisfied until they hold good on their promise! GET MY FATHER A NEW CAR!!!

    Daughter of Bondo Bill (01/22/2005)
For your information Mr. Wal-Mart, If you read what my father had said in his comment you would really understand what happened! See that is the problem with you people! You don't listen to the CUSTOMRER!!!! He didn't say the BOX was damaged. HE SAID THE CARRRRRR!!!!!! was damaged!

Maybe you should take the time to listen to your customer's needs instead of making your own judgement and conclusions!
In my company EVERY CUSTOMER IS SATISFIED!!! That is why I am still in business!
    GET IT!?

You are so right, Walmart is Walmart. No matter how you buy it or receive it, still the same corporation with the same crappy Customer Service.

My daughter has a solid heart of Gold and I thank God for her, as I also thank those of you for your comments, that have endured similar experiences with Wal-Mart. Any more statements from Wal-Mart...??? or whatever you're calling yourself today..?

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience at a Wal-Mart store. I'm a customer service manager at a store in Oklahoma and we always make sure we do whatever we have to do to satisfy a customer. Of course there are rules about Wal-Mart.com returns, since it is a separate division. Shipping charges are supposed to be refunded if the item is defective, but bringing the shipping box to prove the item itself and not the shipping box was damaged is always a good idea, and it reinforces your point. Furthermore, did you ask to speak with a member of management? A lot of times they can either make a better suggestion or call Wal-Mart.com themselves ... more >>

Did you bother to open the box? I ordered the EXACT same item, had the EXACT same problem. Inside the box is the Instruction Manual, it clearly states not to contact Wal-Mart, but rather contact the vendor directly in case of a problem. I called first thing this morning and I am getting a new outer body sent out ASAP.

    Try following directions...

    LOL

    Pissed Off Lizard (08/20/2007)
I too have had problems with Wal-Mart customer service and with their shoddy products. You might not be aware of this but if you get a product at Wal-Mart, like a DVD player, and see the same model at another store it is probably not truly the same model. Wal-Mart has a lot of its items made to slightly different specifications (cheaper parts) so that they can APPEAR to sell the same model that another store is selling for a lower price. In reality it isn't truly the same model. This goes for many items at Wal-Mart. So be warned.

    Pissed Off Lizard (08/20/2007)
JimmyPearson, if Wal-Mart sells it, it becomes their responsibility, regardless of what a piece of paper says. Look up the word "honor" in the dictionary.
