NCO Financial Systems Complaint - Oh Really? - Stop grasping at straws
Stop grasping at straws - Complaint
1. Can you validate this debt?
2. Are you SoL? (has the statute of limitation passed?)
3 A 1099c is not validation basically it means trust me you owe.
4. Why does you company continue to violate the Fair Collection Practices Act by calling outside the allowable times?
5. Why have contact 3rd parties about my alleged debt? (Again in violation of the previous law)
6.Do you even research the accounts you purchase or do you just buy them in bulk & hope for a sucker?
7. Did the creditor engage in unfair practices themselves?
In short I dispute your claim.

1. Can you validate this debt? You will need to send a letter by certified mail with a return reciept to request validation. This will give you what proof you may need showing you requested it and when.
4. Why does you company continue to violate the Fair Collection Practices Act by calling outside the allowable times? What times are they calling you? They are allowed to call between 8am and 9pm in the debtor's time zone. UNLESS, they have been notified not to call at a specific time.
5. Why have contact 3rd parties about my alleged debt? (Again in violation of the previous law). They are allowed to contact 3rd parties as long as they DON'T disclose any information. They can only contact them for location information. They can not disclose that you owe a debt.

I can't comment on the SOL because I have no info on this particular bill they are questioning and #3 isn't a question.
