Long John Silver's Restaurants Complaint - Poor service food not hot - fish and chicken combo

SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA -- My wife and I stopped by Long Johns to have lunch on Sunday. There special lemonade from 2 to 5 for 75cents sounded good. I ordered a #4 fish & chicken a small drink and a 75cent lemonade. I was told that it was not 2pm yet and I would have to wait for the lemonade. I paid for the meal all except the lemonade, the time one my ticket 1:59. I sat down while my wife went back to get her Lemonade and pay for it. She also asked for an extra plate so we could share our meal. The girl gave my wife the order on the tray plus a extra plate that my wife had to carry back to the table. We are both disabled and walk with canes, I also carry a oxygen tank the girl could see this. Did not offer to take the tray to the table for her. The fish was not that hot nor the chicken even the french fries were bad. We usually have Long Johns once a week, but no more the price has gone up and the service and quality down

Last time I ate at LJS my stomach hurt cause of all the grease in the food.

I have only eaten at LSJ once I think, And that was enough. I don't eat fish so I just got chicken.

Personally I haven't eaten there in decades. Everything tasted the same back in 1985, I assume that is still the case.

I prefer Captain Ds over Long John Silver. While Captain Ds can be greasy, I only eat their once in awhile.

Why didn't your wife just ask for a little bit of help? I'm sure they would of accomodated her if they knew it was going to be a problem for her. Many people use canes and oxygen, and get around just fine. As for the unsatisfactory meal, did you tell them while you were there that it was not to your liking? They cannot attempt to fix what they do not know is broken.

Ditto Skye. Helping handicapped people is a double edged sword. Some take offense to being helped when they feel they can do it on their own. How is the cashier to know this? Your wife could have asked for help if it was going to be an issue, but it seems like she got to the table just fine with it so the cashier knew she could make it.

I just do not understand if someone is having a meal that they find totally unsatisfactory, while dining in, why not say something? I'm sure LJS would of replaced the cold food, with some nice, hot fresh food.

I agree sky its not like they are going to refuse to do it. Its Your money you should be able to have a satisfactory meal. Anytime my meal is not to my liking I always tell them and get it replaced right away.

I totally know where that LJS is,it always looks deserted whenever I drive by.There was a 'Skippers' down the street years back,they served beer...
