SellPhoneOnline.com Complaint - Rip Off

SOUTH MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA -- I found this company online and read the entire site before chosing to use them. The website clearly states that you will receive a check for your merchandise within 30 days of them receiving it. So I sent off my phone along with charger within the 5 days that they prefer you to send it. I received an email 5 days later letting me know that they received the phone and it was in processing. Then 2 weeks later I sent them an email just checking on the status of my order. This was their reply:
Our system indicates that your device was received on 09/27/2010.
As stated in our Terms & Conditions, We request about 30 days to process your phone(s) or other electronic equipment. You may receive an email notification of your Post Inspection Offer, if applicable, after approximately 3 weeks. Approximately 1 week after that, you will receive a payment notification then followed by a payment via US first class mail. These times are approximate. You may also be sent emails requesting additional information and assistance. Finally you will receive an email indicating payment has been made. Payment is made through Bank of America corporate check.
If you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

So I continued to wait out the 30 days. On day 31 I sent them another email requesting an update. I waited a week and got no reply. So I waited a few more days, then wrote a letter to the company and sent it certified mail. I'm still currently waiting on them to receive it. I'm thinking of seeking legal counsil.

Tell them you may be seeking counsel and see if that doesn't speed things up a bit.
