I was charged 6 times for a DVD that wouldn't come out of the machine. BBE credited my bank account and then gave me 3 free rental codes. The next weekend I thought I'd give it another shot and rented two DVDs using those free codes. Come Monday morning when I checked my online banking I saw that I had been charged for those "free" rentals. I called customer service to have this corrected and they told me they were sorry but my free rental codes were expired and could not be properly applied.

Also, they refused to credit my account for these rentals. COMPLETE RIP OFF. I'm going to remain a loyal redbox customer now!

Blockbuster sucks. I give them a few years before they go out of business.

when you were charged 6 times, did you swipe your card 6 times in an attempt to get the movie?
If so, you are kind of at fault for charges 2-6 since you knew the machine wasn't working.

I've rented movies twice from Blockbuster Express. The first time I swore I'd never do it again because I was overcharged. That was about a year ago. Last weekend, I wanted to rent movies, but Redbox was sold out of the new releases I wanted to see. So, like an idiot, I went to Blockbuster Express. I just now checked my bank statement and I was overcharged AGAIN! I should never have given them free reign to charge me whatever they felt like after they screwed me over the first time! I will NEVER give them another cent. REDBOX RULES!
