Allied Home Warranty Complaint - Horrible Service for AC Heat pump problems

Complaint
Review by nbgirl on 2011-01-26
I moved into my 5 year old home and within 1 week had AC/heating problems. I called Alled Home warranty thinking I should definitely use this company that I have a warranty service with. They were able to get me in touch with a AC/heating company they have a contract with in my area of Texas, Four Seasons. This was in a timely manner like the same day I called. That is the ONLY thing that has happened professionally.
It now has been 2 months and Alied Home Warranty has never once contacted me to check on my broken heating system nor the company they have contracted with. The company came out and I paid the $60 service fee. They stayed 3 hours and still could not find the problem but managed to re-wire my zoning system ( which now I have to pay to fix) then they came out again to take parts from my heater to "patch". After repeatedly calling for 2 weeks they told me I needed a new evaporator coil which would be an additional $700. So I told them no and I would like my parts returned. This has been 2 months and I found a reputable compnay in my home town to fix my AC for around $500.
What I found so frustrating in dealing with this compnay is Alled never once tried to help me receive the professional service I need for my AC. I am sure Four Seasons was paid a flat rate for dealing with a warranty customer but never was held accountable to do the right thing.
