I was another of many people who unwittingly "agreed" to this UMG Buyersedge service, which was charging me $9.99/month. Apparently UMG piggybacks on other online consumer services, and if you agree to a Buyersedge Trial, you have authorized them to start charging you. It is ENTIRELY UNCLEAR that you are agreeing to this.

If you have also had this experience, CALL 1-888-326-7156 for UMG customer service; I spoke to a competent representative named TOM (ext. 5247) who did refund me my money (2 mos. of charges), though he also explained to me the "legitimacy" of their operation. He also mentioned that I should have received a package in the mail from UMG--I never received any such package. (If I had, I would at least have been clued in to my oblivious "consent".) I appreciate Tom's reasonable response to my (irate) call, though I still strongly feel this company is duping people into this charge over the internet.
