Direct Energy Complaint - Total Ripoff

I have lived in my apartment for 11 months now and all of a sudden Oncor comes out and reads the complex meters. Well to make a long story short I was just hit with a $387 dollar bill on top of my $160 monthly bill. I called Direct Energy and they couldn't even explain to me why I got the bill of $387 but they sure did make it loud and clear I needed to pay it or my service would be disconnected. I decided to call Oncor and they informed me that they did come out to do meter readings and another apartment was crossedover with my apartments meter and they are saying I have to pay 11 months of back taxes. I called Direct Energy back and explained that it's not my fault there was an error on Oncor's end and why should I have to pay and they responded with lets start a payment plan to resolve the issue and I don't have to pay all at once and there's even a catch with that as well. Turns out if I pay one late payment on the payment plan that defaults the whole thing and I would have to start all over. I don't feel I'm being treated fair and I'm dealing with money hungary companies.
