I enjoyed your Microsoft informative and gave you a very helpful vote. I don't use the automatic updates either.
I may be wrong, but it seems you mentioned you used the Nortons virus protection and and gave some advice on that a while back to someone. I today replaced that top of the line Nortons I had with the bottom of the line Nortons and can't begin to tell people how the visible speed has increased with my Comcast highspeed. I personally didn't need all those extras and it really made a difference.
An informative on anti-virus protection would be great.

Hey emt_c... Yeah the Jiffy lube thing is definitely something to watch out for with any of those small shops. I stopped using them and now just go to my dealership... who has taken pretty good care of my truck over the years... since they have a vested interest in keeping me happy so i'll buy another car someday... =)

Good info on Jiffy Lube...it should be posted as an informative. My Mechanic would always show me under the hood, what needed to be repaired/replaced. Then he would give me the old part that he removed and showed me the new one. He closed down about a year ago and it's really hard to find an honest one like him...he never over charge and sometimes he'd so a little extra work while he had my car and didn't charge for it.

No I don't have an IPhone. Wouldn't want one even if it was given to me. To me a mobile phone is only a wireless communications device for voice. I don't care for extras such as text messaging, built-in camera, etc. Of course the IPhone is a fascinating device but it's got more junk in it than I care for. AT&T network isn't too bad but it's data transmission rate is slow when compared to Verizon and it's more expensive.

Important, if not evident, observation...thanks for responding...I know all the negative comments should outway my postive one...if I'd checked out consumer sites first I'd probably not have ordered from them...as I said it took a little time to get satisfaction but they did come through...maybe new management, new ownership?...I also keep in mind these consumer sites are obviously far more often than not used by those expressing bad experiences rather than thos who have had postive and expected results...all the bestest...

Yeah, I read that a little further down that you had posted that. To be honest with you, I had no idea they were offering that for the guys with the older units. I knew that the FCC came down on them for being way overpowered (not just sirius, all fm transmitters), but never knew they were offering a free replacement. I'll have to look into this further! Anyway, glad you got your situation sorted out.
